On October 14, 2021, Caliche, Ltd. was awarded GSA MAS contract #47QRAA22D000M. The status of “GSA Approved” denotes that Caliche, Ltd. is allowed to provide our services to the United States Government through the Government Services Administration.

The GSA Contract simplifies the awarding of our services because the terms and pricing are negotiated and pre-established.  The GSA contracts can be issued within a matter of weeks while typical government contracts can take almost a year.

Services Caliche, Ltd. are approved to provide include the following:

  • Environmental Consulting Services (SIN 541620)
  • Professional and Management Development Training (SIN 611430)

Staffing includes the following:

Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Certified Safety Professional, Professional Engineer. Designs, performs and/or directs industrial hygiene or safety projects. Identifies workplace health hazards and conducts worker/workplace exposure monitoring. Makes recommendations for controls or means of protection for identified health and safety hazards. Assists to develop worker protection plans and provides training and education for management and workers. Performs complex industrial hygiene and safety-related projects.

Industrial Hygienist. May serve as a project manager on individual projects responsible for cost and delivery success; provides high level of technical and/or management guidance to lower level personnel. Designs, performs and/or directs industrial hygiene, safety or environmental projects. Identifies workplace health hazards and conducts worker/workplace exposure monitoring. Makes recommendations for controls or means of protection for identified health hazards. Assists to develop worker protection plans and provides training and education for management and workers. Performs complex industrial hygiene projects. Servers as the senior technical expert. May be responsible for all day to day operations and for supervising technical personnel.

Industrial Hygiene Technician. Responsible for timely tasks, reports & budgets.  Responsible for collecting samples, conducting audits, performing on-site measurements, downloading instrumentation data, evaluating on-site conditions, performing assessments. Documents and tabulates the data collected with related environmental parameters, e.g., photography, site plans, collection and review of safety data sheets (SDS), etc. Performs asbestos inspections, abatement project design, abatement project monitoring, and related training. Performs air sampling for asbestos and PCM microscopy and analysis of air samples. Takes on-site measurements, including temperature, humidity, and moisture levels, during an initial or post-remediation mold assessment. Collect samples for mold analysis during an initial mold assessment and prepare a mold assessment report; and as directed by an on-site assessment consultant, collect samples during a post- remediation mold assessment. Also provides maintenance of field and laboratory equipment and data entry. Works under the direction of Superintendent, CIH, CSP, PE, CIE, OHST, or Individual Asbestos Consultant.
