NIOSH Finds Inconsistent Use of Hearing Protection Among Noise-Exposed Workers “More than 50 percent of workers exposed to noise in 2014 did not wear hearing protection consistently, a study conducted by NIOSH researchers has found. Cheesy Holiday Safety Slogans! Working safely may get old, but so do those who practice it. Safety glasses: All in favor say “Eye!” Light up your tree, not your home. Don’t be a scrooge, get it fixed. Only Santa has a magical vehicle, don’t drink and drive. Smoke detectors make good stocking stuffers. While on a ladder, never step back to admire your work. Christmas is best enjoyed at home, not in the hospital.
